People have 5 primal emotions (Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, Disgust) that imbue their memories and construct their personalities, attitudes, and behaviours. Each person has one dominant emotion. While this does mean that on average the dominant emotion occurs the most, it does not mean they always feel only that one dominant emotion. Rather, it means the dominant emotion always affects other emotions to some extent. For exmaple, even when you feel anger, your dominant emotion that is Disgust can still influence how that anger manifests in a way different from the anger of a person whose dominant emotion is Fear, Currently, people have diverse and different dominant emotions from one another.
